Can
It’s been a very quiet week at work with a lot of the “higher ups” schmoozing at the National Association of Broadcasters’ conference in Vegas this week. This means doing some cleaning up of stuff around here and lots of web surfing. Unfortunately the interweb is mostly vacuous and boring, so I’m left twiddling my thumbs and doing sudoku puzzles.
So to quell the boredom a little, I will present you guys this:
That’s right. It’s the lovely alt-country band from the mid-90s led by Carla Bozulich and Nels Cline doing a cover of Can. The cover is not very country, and it’s not over 20 minutes long like the original. Carla’s vocals are what make the song. Enjoy!!!!
Edit: Let me add that this song is on their album Butch released in 97 or thereabouts on Virgin Records. Yes. They had a major label deal. Ah. The joys of the 90s.
