It looks like Arial Sharon’s government in Israel is collapsing in front of our eyes. Being against war and terrorism, I am overjoyed with this development. I don’t know how such a criminal was given so much power, but it’s a relief that his reign is almost over. Hopefully the next prime minister will bring back the reforms Barak had started. Maybe, they’ll have another Rabin or Peres. I just finished reading Catch 22. What a fucking great book. Now it’s on to Lipstick Traces by Greil Marcus and hopefully Dead Souls by Gogol. Hopefully.
